When: Before & after runoff; best in summer and fall, preferrably September & October

Where: NM Game & Fish area, upper or lower or in Co-Osier area

Gear: Ultra-lights for dries; 3-5 wts for streamer and nymph fishing, X depends on fly size, but most of the time 5X

Flies:

Dries: Elk Hair Caddis, Para-Adams, Stimulators, Hoppers, Wulffs
Nymphs: GRHE, Prince, PT, Black Stone, or your favorite 2 nymph rig. Prefer beadheads except in fall when the water is very clear and skinny. Hopper/dropper during the summer is very effective.
