NM Trout Member Casting Clinics
We are delighted to announce that New Mexico Trout is bringing back our casting clinics that we began last spring. This offers members of New Mexico Trout a fantastic opportunity to jump start their fly fishing skills.
We are going to change things up a bit from last year’s clinics, this year we will offer 2 clinics for beginners and then 1 clinic for intermediate level casters. The beginner clinics are intended for persons with no fly casting experience to beginner level casters.
Intermediate level clinics are designed for people that have experience but are having difficulty with some aspects of their cast or would like to build on their capabilities.
Participants will have the chance to learn from experienced instructors while connecting with fellow members who share their passion for our sport. With only 15 spots available for each clinic, we encourage you to register promptly to ensure your participation in this exclusive event.
The clinics are free but participants must be members of New Mexico Trout! Do you need to join or renew?
Wednesday, April 29, 5:30 pm – beginner clinic 1
Saturday, May 16, 9:00 am – beginner clinic 2

Clinics will take place at Netherwood Park, west of Carlisle and north of Indian School [ location ]. Bring your own gear if you have it or we will have rods if you need one to use. Water will be provided for participants. Clinics will last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, give or take.
