Everyone who has fished for selective trout, who have the most subtle takes, will appreciate this presentation. Suzy will demonstrate the fundamental and most important techniques to achieve a natural and proper drift and presentation of your fly to the trout. She will also teach the most effective ways to set the hook.
“I was introduced to fly fishing by my dad on the Yampa River. That day, and many subsequent adventures with my dad, led me deep into the world of fly fishing, and I now spend as much time as possible on the San Juan River where I learned. My dad was a guide, and now I guide. I enjoy sharing my journey of fly fishing, the challenges faced by all and especially women and kids to the sport; and of course, the ever-changing challenge of fishing the San Juan River. I am a member of the Board of Directors for the New Mexico Wildlife Federation and on the board for our local Bosque Trout Unlimited.”
