February General Meeting
Richard Summervile will talk about fishing the San Pedro Wilderness. It is a fairly close area with good fishing, so anywhere from a good day trip to an overnight camp. As you would expect, the further you walk the more plentiful and larger the fish, but a good local place to check-out.

Peralta Creek After the Las Conchas Fire
We revisted Peralta Canyon, site of the 2011 Los Conchas Fire. We found that the canyon and the creek were mostly unaffected by the fire.

NM anglers can show their pride and support conservation with a special ediiton Rio Grande cutthroat trout license plate. Initial cost for the plate is $27, with $15 going to the Share with Wildlife Program.

A federal court recently ruled against motions filed several years ago by a group of ranchers seeking continued grazing rights on land in New Mexico that has been used by their families for centuries.
Late Season Conservation Project on the Rio Cebolla
About a dozen New Mexico Trout volunteers spent the last Saturday in October assisting US Forest Service personnel in constructing structures in the Rio Cebolla called “Beaver Dam Analogs.”
